Disneys disney’s blizzard beach: A Must-visit place in a Disney World, Orlando Vacation

Located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Disneys Disney’s Blizzard Beach is water based theme park. It is the third Walt Disney World Water Park and was unveiled on April 1, 1995. Most of the major attractions are hosted on top of the Mount Gushmore. It is 90 ft tall and is divided into 3 colored slopes: Red, Green and Purple.

Red Slope

Red slope is located to the rear of the park and contains just one attraction namely Runoff Rapids. It is a 600 foot tube run featuring one enclosed and two open tube slides.

Green Slope

Green slope is the most attractive and has numerous nail biting rides like Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher and others. It is the world’s tallest body slide with a height of 120 ft. Here, sometimes rider can reach up to a speed of 55 mph, depending upon the physiology and position of the individual. On the other hand, Slush Gusher is a 90 ft body slide that can reach up to a speed of 35 mph.

Purple Slope

Purple slope is accessible from a path that is very next to Downhill Double Dipper. This Downhill Double Dipper is the only side by side racing slide that the world is having. This heart wrenching and adrenaline pumping slide is 50 ft high and 230 ft long. Other attractions of purple slope are Snow Stormers and Toboggan Racers.

Apart from the slope attraction, other ground level attractions include Meltaway Bay, Cross Country Creek, Ski Patrol, Tike’s Peak and The Chair Lift.
